When our 13 year old athlete tore her ACL and meniscus we researched sports medicine surgeons and couldn’t be more thankful to find Dr. Skelley! Dr. Skelley performed two hip scopes to fix impingements nature and nurture saw fit to bestow upon me. My right hip was done in December of 2024, with my right hip procedure following that in April of 2025. For reference, here are symptoms I was dealing with before the procedure: - Intense hip pain several times a week that could make me tear up - General discomfort in both hips after sitting/standing/doing anything for too long. Had hip surgery twice. amazing crew and treated me and my family well. i recovered in 2 months both times. hip feels new and amazing.
After suffering from shoulder pain for 2 years, I was referred to Dr Skelley. He scheduled me for surgery within 6 weeks as all other avenues had already been tried (rest, therapy, etc). He ended up using a fairly new procedure (Stryker Balloon) as my shoulder was really messed up. My surgery was in mid-February. By the end of March, I was back riding my CanAm Spyder; by the end of of April, I was practicing sparring and boxing moves; by the middle of May, I was back on the gun range practicing for competition shooting.
