Knowledgeable, compassionate, calming bedside manner. Says things like, "If you were my sister, this is what I'd tell you." Wouldn't go to anyone else. He is literally the best.

AMAZING!! After a horrible experience with another OBGYN at Phelps this man has given me faith in medicine. His bedside manner is out of this world. He's kind and compassionate. He answered every question I had directly and didn't sidetrack to avoid answering. He made sure I felt comfortable at every encounter and encouraged me to ask questions and get in contact with any concerns. Unfortunately he does not do Obsetrics anymore but he does gynecological. I'll be using him for I hope many years to come.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Ratchford. He was extremely attentive and spent a long time explaining treatment options and answering my questions. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and heard. The exam he performed was quick and gentle. It’s rare to find a caring and knowledgeable professional of his caliber, and I feel like our community is fortunate to have him.
