I went to this doctor for a follow up for an incident I was treated for at the Rifle hospital and also completed my first follow-up there. He coded my visit a major surgery code for a thumb fracture that is usually used at the initial visit when being treated for the injury and if many followups are needed. It cost me so much money when it should have just been an office visit and they refused to go back and change it.
