Dr. Pursifull is an outstanding Urologist.He diagnosed my wife's cancer and performed surgery after chemo was recommended. He removed her left kidney and a small portion of her bladder. I was in there 7 min. Never asked for pain meds only said I was passing a kidney stone and I needed to see a urologist for help. 3 times he stated that he doesn’t prescribe pain pill. He wouldn’t even let me explain what I needed. Then he said well I’ll need a CT scan when I told him I had had an ultra sound and an xray. He said can’t do a thing with out a CT scan. I’ve had at least 20 kidney stones and didn’t want to get a CT scan every time I had a stone. He repeated that he can’t do a thing with out one. Didn’t even look ... read more
I am a patient that has questions and concerns. Dr. Pursifull answered all my questions and my concerns were alleviated. The procedure he performed went well and with very little discomfort. I highly recommend this Dr. Pursifull.
Dr. Pursiful is very knowledgeable. He may not be a man of many words, he will answer questions about your care.
Dr. Pursifull does not listen!!! He performed a routine surgery on my kidney. 3 days after surgery I called to say something was not right. He told me it was a part of the recovery process. 6 days later he saw me in his office. I again, told him something was not right. He did not even touch my abdomen but told me again, it was a result of the anesthesia. It was not, it was from a large hole in my ureter caused by the surgery. Dr Pursifull doesn't seem to be appropriately concerned about more complex issues. Not a terrible visit, but certainly not a great one either. I prefer my physicians more engaged and compassionate.
