I got operated twice by him , for the same kidney stone and he still didn't get it. I'm getting another professional to do the job. I'm never going back to him. He didn't communicate and he's bedside matters are terrible.
Dr. Pursifull is an outstanding Urologist.He diagnosed my wife's cancer and performed surgery after chemo was recommended. He removed her left kidney and a small portion of her bladder. I was in there 7 min. Never asked for pain meds only said I was passing a kidney stone and I needed to see a urologist for help. 3 times he stated that he doesn’t prescribe pain pill. He wouldn’t even let me explain what I needed. Then he said well I’ll need a CT scan when I told him I had had an ultra sound and an xray. He said can’t do a thing with out a CT scan. I am a patient that has questions and concerns. Dr. Pursifull answered all my questions and my concerns were alleviated. The procedure he performed went well and with very little discomfort. I highly recommend this Dr. Pursifull.
Dr. Pursiful is very knowledgeable. He may not be a man of many words, he will answer questions about your care.
Dr. Pursifull does not listen!!! He performed a routine surgery on my kidney. 3 days after surgery I called to say something was not right. He told me it was a part of the recovery process. 6 days later he saw me in his office. I again, told him something was not right. He did not even touch my abdomen but told me again, it was a result of the anesthesia. It was not, it was from a large hole in my ureter caused by the surgery. Dr Pursifull doesn't seem to be appropriately concerned about more complex issues. Not a terrible visit, but certainly not a great one either. I prefer my physicians more engaged and compassionate.
