I had a HORRIBLE office visit with another podiatrist in the area before finding Dr. Vela on HealthGrades.com. Dr. Vela is underrated! He works with great patience, attentiveness, passion and expertise, and it is MOST appreciated! Dr. Vela gave me hope that with proper care and treatment, I could work through my plantar fasciitis. His staff are down-to-earth and absolute sweethearts! I was sad (but grateful!) on my last follow-up visit with him. I highly recommend!
I had three visits with Dr. Vela for a Plantar Fasciitis problem in my left foot, probably exacerbated by a spinal stenosis/neuropathy problem I've had for several years. I found Dr. Vela to be a proficient and caring individual. After X-ray and sonogram tests, he proscribed a successful ibuprofen, ice water soak, and stretching/walking regimen that took care of my problem. Dr. Vela has an excellent and friendly front office and nursing staff. No waiting time on all three appointments.
I have been going to a lot of doctors over the last two years and Dr. Nathan Vela is by far my favorite doctor/surgeon. He has a wonderful bed side manner and takes his time with you. He is a great listener and takes the time to explain things to you. I have been going to this doctors office for a year now on a monthly and sometimes biweekly basis and each time I go I feel like I am with family. I know he truly cares about the well being of his patients. Marcia and Paula are fantastic too!!
