I was extremely satisfied with today's appointment. It was my first visit with him, and I felt he was familiar with my records before I came in. He took my concerns seriously and discussed my treatment thoroughly. I felt comfortable and at ease with the doctor. I would definitely recommend him and am happy that my previous neurologist who retired entrusted my care to hom.
I went to see him due to dizziness, and concern over recent memory problems. I had the impression he really did not have time me. He spent the first few minutes reviewing my medications and asking me why I was taking them. He said the dizziness problem would have to be solved by the Strong Balance Lab. He then picked up my coat and handed it to me; apparently he felt we were finished. When I then asked him about the memory problems, instead of giving me cognitive tests, he simply answered 'I can tell from talking to you and ... read more
Honestly I'd steer clear if you're thinking of seeing Dr.Khishchenko. Save your time, money and hopes. He was rude from the second I sat down with him. It was also clear he never even peeked at my chart referral prior to sitting across from me. For a new patient appointment it lasted maybe 10 minutes, that includes him reviewing my current medications, my history and deciding to drastically change medications.I was never allowed to complete an entire sentence and everything i started to say was dismissed by him with an i don... read more
I was referred to Dr. Natan Khishchenko by my primary physician for evaluation of a balance issue. Dr. Khishchenko immediately set me at ease and asked questions to clarify my condition. Based on that and what I felt was a very through exam, he recommended I obtain an MRI. Dr. Khishchenko reviewed the MRI results with me and recommended I obtain a consult for possible surgery. I found Dr. Khishchenko to be a very caring, knowledgeable, and professional individual. If you need an exceptional neurologist, I highly recommend Dr.... read more
This man did not ask a single question about the condition I was experiencing. Not, “what brings you in?” Or “where does it hurt?” He just made assumptions about the cause of my symptoms and refused to consider anything beyond his working theory. He rushed me, talked over me and shut down my husband’s reasonable questions. He seemed more interested in prescribing medications than treating or discovering the root cause. He also asked me to “slip off my shoes” in a relatively creepy way. It’s an extremely hard pass on this doc... read more
If I could give zero stars, I would. I was so hopeful to get help for my debilitating migraines. Instead of help I got talked down to, talked over, and had all of my concerns disregarded by this man. I wasn't even able to complete a sentence without him interrupting. He was the most arrogant Dr I've ever been to. He downplayed my pain and said a few migraines a week isn't that big of a deal. I left so disheartened. I don't know how anyone could stand going to someone who has such lack of compassion for patients.
I will start, everyone has a right to their own opinion. I have been one of his patients for 15+ years. I have a ton of respect for him and his ability to treat my rare condition. He is upfront, honest, caring, and knowledgeable. I have zero negative things to say about him. He gave me a metaphor to keep in mind about my condition and repeating this helps me through the tough times.
Dr. Khishchenko spent almost the entirety of all my visits talking about his personal life and not for the purpose of making friendly conversation. He is very condescending and basically told me the issues I was referred for weren't as serious as I was making them out to be. He put in my chart that I have psychosomatic disorder, even though he prescribed me a medications for my symptoms.
I have been a patient of Dr. Khishchenko for many years. I find him to be very knowledgeable and willing to answer any question a patient may have. I would recommend him highly.
