My concerns were minimized, refused to refer me further and told me I need to talk to another doctor about my heart symptoms, shamed me for not coming in to see a doctor during Covid. Overall feel like the experience was not just unhelpful, but a blockage to getting the help I needed

I went in for a referral and she wanted to withhold it from me until I got a bunch of other unreleated services that were 100% unrelated. Also refused to prescribe me a pain reliever because I was using CBD balm and she wouldn't give a prescription to a "drug-user". I wouldn't let her pierce my child's ears.
She was too busy for me and talked down to me. It was so bad that other agreed that she is short when she has a bad day. No excuses!!!
Dr Natalie Hoffman is the best doctor ever!! I am so fortunate to have Dr. Hoffman as my primary doctor; she is so knowledgable, caring, and always follows up with me if I leave her messages. She sat down next to me to show her empathy and exudes professionalism as well. She validated my concerns instead of dismissing them, as many doctors have for me in the past. The best news is that Dr. Hoffman provides antidotes to my problems rather than other doctors that didn't seem to search for answers.
Dr. Hoffman is great, I've been her patient for about 2 years. She is very knowledgeable and responsive. If I send her a message on Follow My Health she gets back to me the same day. She is super sweet. I drive out of my way to go to her office.
Dr. Hoffman has been a challenge to work with primarily because she is not interested in getting to the root of the medical concern but rather is quick to prescribe pain meds as a solution. We are looking for a doctor that will be an advocate for solutions, not just a temporary band aid. She also does not make eye contact with you, which lends to a feeling of not being heard or supported.
Poor listener, at times defensive, lack of experience and maturity limit her abilities to put herself in the patient's perspective. I told her I had IBS for 30 years (constipation) and her response was a patronizing lecture about fiber, water, laxatives, and enemas. I am 58, dealt with this a long time, one surgery for it, believe me I know all about constipation at this point!
