Today I went in to get my first IUD. I am 17 years old this was my first gynecologist visit ever. I was obviously nervous and got laughing gas also and she didn’t know and said “well I’ve never done that before.” In a very cold tone. I gave birth 3 years ago . I received an episiotomy unnecessarily from Dr Camacho (or Dr c section as she’s commonly known) I was one of the lucky people who saw a different doctor at the practice and got a procedure to fix excessive scar tissue (a “rare” complication from the episiotomy). I write this review today because I shared my story and 3 other women reached out sharing a similar one and 2 are still dealing with excessive scar tissue and pain in their daily lives. Bedside manner is lacking. She inappropriately jumped the gun on telling my husband and I (in the coldest tone possible) that I was miscarrying. After my hospital visit, I found this was not the case at all (a different issue was present) and my baby is still live and healthy.
I had just moved to FL and I was 3 months pregnant with twins. I fortunately never saw her during all my routine visits but had heard by staff and reviews that she was not well liked. When I checked into the hospital she was on call. My nurse was great, but Camacho was rude, not supportive, she didn’t care about my feelings or how I wanted the birth of my twins to go.
