I have used this vet many time and have spent thousands. My dog is very difficult and must be muzzled for treatment. Today when I called to make an appointment I was told by the receptionist Pat “ the vet is alone and can not handle your dog”. I have never heard of a vet that would turn away a paying client who’s dog needs attention because the vet can’t handle it. I am shocked by this response and will never take my dog there again. I wouldn’t recommend this vet to anyone if their vets can’t handle an animal. 0 stars
RecommendedDr Rosen and Dr Tanaka kept our Reesy alive for an extra year. She Had renal failure. The technicians are excellent. Reception is amazing. We had to put our Reesy asleep today Dr Rosen explained everything step to us. Everyone in the office was saddened by our loss.
Took my little boy Jasper here since I got him the workers and the doctor are fabulous just had him neutered they did a great job they even sent me a picture of him before he went into surgery picked him up he was doing great definitely recommend this place

Dr. Hagenson, and his assistants, are compassionate and made my Jerry feel less stressed. The office staff is also very friendly. Hadn't been here in quite a few years, but I am so glad I came back. Everyone there is awesome. Thank you!!!

The doctors and staff at this hospital are absolutely amazing! They're super friendly and informative. Dr Lee and Dr Tanaka have been seeing my dog and chinchillas for two years and I refuse to bring them anywhere else.
We used Nassau Suffolk for almost 15 years. Dr Hagenson was wonderful. We were very disappointed when we had to put our dog down and the receptionist told us they couldn't fit us in. We had to go elsewhere which made a horrible situation even worse. We were fortunate to find another animal hospital that showed us compassion although we had never taken our dog there before. Nassau Suffolk was not there for us when we really needed them.
