I was referred to Dr. Ahmad after being diagnosed with type one diabetes. Dr. Ahmad did nothing to help given the difficult situation I was placed in as a 26-year-old. I should’ve immediately been placed on a CGM. I experienced severe low blood sugars in my first year of diagnosis, and could’ve easily died. My 13 year old son is a patient and gets great care from this facility. We have only been there twice so far, but Dr. Nasir treats us like he has known us for years! He is a highly educated individual who is very personable! Dr. Nasir is opening up his own practice in Flint next month, is what we were told today. We definitely will be following him!! Sad to see him leave Memorial Healthcare though.
