RecommendedDr. Damita Bryant is the best thing to happen to this practice and I have been a patient for decades! She is on time, listens, has compassion for everything I say, is friendly, and meets me where I am in terms of willingness to try treatments. I feel better than ever and like I have a person I can contact and trust to take care of my migraines forever! I love the new website, portal, and ways to reach out. Telehealth appointments with her are excellent.
Dr. Bryant has been treating me since 2018. She's SO amazing. I have occipital neuralgia and cervocogenic headache. She does my botox but she also goes above and beyond to try new therapies to help me. My pain never goes away. It comes with the condition. She knows that and really racks her brain trying to figure out new ways to keep pain low. What an amazing lady and such precious bedside manner. I absolutely adore her. She's on my team and fights with me through my struggle. I'm so happy she's my neurologist.
As a heads up, Dr. Brandes is on a hiatus leave so you will be seen by Dr. Bryant. She's a great lady and good doctor.
I was impressed with the time Dr. Brandes spent with us. It was a first visit so we will se how the follow ups go. It was a stressful visit because we had two years of stuff to go over but she went over every minute of it trying to figure out what is going on. My only negative so far is that her treatments are lot of pills which i am not a fan of but we have to give it a shot because my daughter is miserable and nothing else has helped this far.
My first appointment with Dr Brandes was impressive; she seemed very competent and compassionate, and not in a hurry to move on to the next patient. Unfortunately everything else about this place is a hot mess. I recently showed up for an appointment after being sent to Vanderbilt for a sleep study, and of course, I was seen by someone who was NOT Dr Brandes and had no knowledge of my health despite my explicitly being put down for a 5 month follow up WITH brandes.
