So we bought the all week pass $50 after taxes came yesterday and rode a few tracks didn’t get to ride the fast track 16 and up because the line was long came back today at 11am when they opened to ride it first got over there and the guy running the track said he had to have 3 workers there to start the track up he said wait a few minutes after about 30minutes he said I’ll be Right back so after 30 more minutes I just walked away to see that the guy that was there was running another track that is no way to run a business e... read more

Hi Sabrina, we're sorry that we weren't able to open Smoky Mountain Speedway at 11 a.m. In a normal year, our county already faces a hiring crisis with there being more available jobs then workers. This was further compounded by the pandemic this summer. The college students who normally help businesses like ours fill jobs, did not come to town and many adults can't return to work for various reasons.
