I had a terrible time with Dr. Hussey. No caring about symptoms or diagnosing. Just take this opioid in ever increasing strengths. And while you are at it take this muscle relaxer too. No curiosity to help discover what my illness was. Finally, on my own I went to a movement disorder specialist at USF. She said I had Parkinson’s Disease and needed a Deep Brain Stimulator. Waited almost an hour at surgery center for scheduled procedure. Wa informed by front desk staff that Dr Hussey was still at his other office and would not be here to do procedure for another 30-45 mins. Very unprofessional and unacceptable
Sent by WC for back injury/given fusion on lower back after a year of suffering with broken vertebra's. Was worse after surgery. Told there was nothing wrong with me and that there was no reason I was in pain. Given NO pain management. Now off WC, went to a doctor my lawyer recommended, had tests and (much needed) medication and told the it was a BAD fusion's, it was loose-and the fusion should have been higher and lower on my back. Also have bulging disc's and am facing more fusion's on top of suffering for the last 3 years... read more
