The regular tonkatsu tasted great and was reasonably priced, parking was free, and the waiter was very kind and efficient. However, they only had one waiter (when I went around noon on August 2), who was clearly overworked (which made the service slow). Please have at least two waiters at all times, as it’s better for your employees and customers.
I've known about this restaurant for a long time but never had the chance to try it until today. It was our first visit, and the restaurant has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We came on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy, but it wasn't empty either, and we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered the deep-fried pork loin cutlet and the curry pork cutlet rice. The service is so nice! I like the really like the call button that they have and the chicken katsu was delicious, its so soft....
Great spot to grab a quick bite on Whyte Ave. Stopped by over the weekend and enjoyed my time there.
