Being a doctor myself, I have seen other great doctors with good bedside manners. This doctor is not one of them. He was rude to me and was not really kid friendly with my son. I certainly will not be following up with him. I cannot comment on his OR skills either, but I do recommend him properly informing us of his treatment plan instead of just throwing prescriptions in my face.
Dr. Napolitano changed my life. I spent most of my life having no peripheral vision on my left side and self-conscious about my left eye not being straight. I've also been told for many years that strabismus surgery can only be performed on children until I met Dr. Napolitano. He explained how this type of surgery is very successful on adults and answered all of my questions with compassion. The surgery was a huge success and I highly recommend this brilliant doctor.
This Dr has the bedside manner of a pirate. He may be good at what he does in the OR etc but has no business dealing with children. The amount of time that he made us wait to be treated was unacceptable. Every time the wait was at least 30 minutes to an hour past our scheduled time. The waiting room has 1 old dirty toy for the kids to fight over. Additonally, I've witnessed him berating his interns on 2 separate occasions about their methods and preparing records for him. Arrogant and unprofessional!!!I saw the doctor for my daughter. He spent only a minute to check her after an hour waiting, and didn't want to answer my questions! Rude staff!!!

Dr. Napolitano did eye muscle surgery on my left eye. I am in almost no pain 1 day later (request that he NOT use adjustable sutures-- I have had this surgery twice and that made a difference). He called me twice to check how I was feeling. Great doctor.
I went to this doctor for my daughter. She was having double vision. He was kind, understanding and helped us so much. I highly recommend.
Waited over an hour for the doctor to finally see my 2 year old son. He looked at him for about 30 seconds and said my son's eyes were fine, but he would dialate anyway just to make sure. Saw him again for about 10 seconds and he told me my son's eyes were almond shaped and his eyes weren't really crossed and for me to come back in 6 months.
