Dr. Napolitano fixed my crossed eyes. He is thorough and communicates well. Everything went well in all appointments, surgery, and post-op. All staff is excellent except for the person who makes surgical appointments and does the paperwork -- she was borderline rude.
My son has been seeing Dr. Napolitano for over 3 years now and he is a wonderful Doctor. He is so skilled, thorough, patient, and extremely caring. He always takes the time to talk to my son, to relate to him. He also takes the time to speak to my husband and I and explain everything. My son loves seeing Dr, Napolitano. Gifted surgeon highly reccomended by a Dr I trust. Staff was accomodating and appointments were punctual. He surgically corrected my daughter's crossed eyes beautifully. This Dr and the OR staff at RWJ Hospital were fantastic.

I am an adult who had eye muscle surgery recently performed by Dr. Napolitano. His approach to the whole process is truly remarkable...not only is he a gifted surgeon and great clinician, he really cares about his patients as people! As a nurse myself, I feel that I have the ability to "recognize" a physician who is truly " at the top of their game" In my opinion...I would highly recommend him! Doctor Napolitano is a top notch surgeon, with a true passion towards his craft. He performed corrective muscle surgery on both of our children with great success. The fact that anyone can sit here and say anything negative about this man perplexes me. He answered all of my questions, followed up after my surgery to ensure I was alright, and last but not least gave me the feeling of having a normal image for the first time in my life! Took my daughter her for an eye exam and had a terrible experience. The doctor was extremely rude and would not answer any of my questions. He had no bedside manner and should not be working with children. I will not be bringing her back here and would not recommend him to anyone.
