BEST PIZZA IN THE SOUTH!!! – My friend lives over on Jones and 1960 and I just happened to stop in one day to get some pizza. I'm a new yorker, turned southern. Hands down, this is the best pizza that Houston and anywhere else below the mason dixon line has to offer! I've never tried anything else, but they're always fast and friendly and more importantly the pizza is always amazing.
Not Italian Style food at all! – I ordered mannicotti. It came wraped in lasagna noodles and all I tasted was mozzerella cheese and a burnt batch of sauce! It was like eating a cheese stick with burnt sauce! Didnt have a hint of cottage or riccota cheese. My friend had speghetti with burnt sauce! The speghetti noodles were thin noodles, surely not Italian style! Rude waitress. Will never go back there! And oh, they serve bread sticks with pasta, NOT GARLIC BREAD!
Very Disappointed – We recently moved to Houston from North Carolina. We were looking for some good pizza in the area and came to Citysearch to find a good restaurant. The reviews for Napoli's looked very reassuring so we placed an order for delivery. We were told 45 - 60 minutes; no problem. After and hour and 20 minutes we called Napoli's. They said they'd call the driver and they should be here very soon. After an hour and 40 minutes we called back to cancel the order. I can understand that the driver had issues finding o... read more
As a native New Yorker who has been a customer here for over 20 years I can tell you this is the best Pizza in Texas bar none. – This place is the best vaLue and highest quality Piza in the city. I grew up in Brooklyn and have eaten all the so-called greats in NYC, Chicago, Vegas and all points in between. Napolis deserves to be tried by everyone, YOU WILL COME BACK. Pizza Uno and Malinati's don't hold up to Napolis. Vince
WILL NEVER GO BACK – The lasagna literally looked like gray dog food. I NEVER send food back, but this had to go. Was told this is their recipe for 20 yrs and the manager didn't have time to talk to me. The waiter practically threw the menu at us and told us to pick something else while he walked away. Very rude. I had their lasagna before and that's why we went back. This was not their 20-yr recipe and certainly isn?t what they picture on their advertisements. I couldn't believe how rude the waiter was and I didn't deserve ... read more
Relaxing ambience, reminiscent of Northeast Pizzareia, great pizza and service – I had a relaxing dinner on a Saturday night with a friend. Our pizza was made to order (half veggie and half deluxe) and reasonably priced. It was delicious. The atmosphere was julibant and busy, very good signs of a successful pizzareia. They even have Sicialian slices! The waitress was polite and professional. They also make good coffee, another plus. Napoli's reminds me of a typical Northeast USA pizza restaurant, with the busy atmosphere, sm... read more
Better Pizza Than Luigis! – I felt welcome and at peace just like any man is made for. The pizza reminds me of my old home in New Jersey. I couldn't eat it all so I took it home. I want to give a big great job to the waitress that served me and my family. It was the best pizza that I've had in Texas. It was better than Luigis. Well I hope you like it too.
for Mary22222 – hahahahahahahahaha you are one sad loser, LATInos are the best and if you didnt like the fact that there were so many Hispanics, DUH there's always the door so you can leave!!!! I'm assuming you are not very smart, nobody was forcing you to be there. by the way Napoli's is great!
"Lack of Service" in 2007 – Our party of 10 professionals were treated with unexpected rudeness and lack of hospitality. The owner seemed to care less that we were waiting and others were continuously seated before us. Not to mention the availability of tables that could have been used if they had cleared the barrage of dirty napkins and plates that were stacking up on them. The owner threatened to call the police if we continued to question him about our turn to be served; that this was his private property. We hope the res... read more
