Loved being at the beach while taken care of by Matt for the second year in a row. He is the best. I love taking my friends and family to Naples Grand beach. everything you need for the perfect day, king size bed with a canopy, lounge chairs, cooler full of water and lunch.
This hotel is overpriced for what it's worth. I stayed here for a weekend, overall it was ok. I probably won't return. There's too many additional costs around the hotel that should be included so make sure to plan ahead. Some tips: make special room requests prior to arrival, they have 7 restaurants, check out the menus online, download the map of the resort online. Disappointed in everything, overpriced, had a bad experience with the room, with the service, elevators, bad tv, had to ask for extra sugar everyday for my morning coffee me and my husband, lots of noises and in my opinion not welcoming rooms decoration not cozy,very cold atmosphere. I don't think I'll see myself there again.
If you are used to luxury hotels and quality service, you will be disappointed with the Naples Grande Beach Resort. You should also expect to pay about $100/day in fees and taxes on top of the room rate. (Resort fee $37; Parking $18; Taxes/Fees $20; Umbrella at beach $25/day -- if they don't run out!). Upon arrival we were told that they overbook and would be sending us to another hotel which was NOT comparable to theirs. Absolutely ridiculous. We will never go back.
On a busy Easter holiday weekend, my friends and I hosted a birthday party in the Naples Grande lobby bar at the south end. On Friday Nights, featured is Veuve Cliquot specials! Management arranged for the setup reservation and Becky D., the food and beverage manager, along with Sara and Gabriella, took fabulous care of our group of almost 50 people; every attention to detail, superb service and customer care factor was apparent. Great attentive staff everywhere. Bar service, front desk, restaraunts, pool. Excellent beach service, tram or walk the boardwalk. We loved the main pool with the slide. We also thought the Fitness center was great. Used the elliptical, treadmill, open area with a yoga mat and free weights. Easy online check out.
