Everyone was quite caring and compassionate. The surgery was completed without complications and the recovery period proceeded without incident. I especially appreciated how both the assitants and Dr. Foxson patiently explained everything to me and answered all of my questions.
I can't put into words the amazement of my experience at NOS. I was worried about the amount of teeth I was having extracted(8). Four days after surgery and I haven't had even one day of pain or discomfort. Dr. Foxson and his staff are some of the nicest people I've met and the professionalism they show is outstanding. If your in need of ANY type of oral surgery I can't stress enough you should visit NOS immediately. Had my wisdom teeth removed the Friday before Christmas; poor timing but the staff was awesome during the visit. There was plenty of discussion to help break the anxiety of having teeth pulled and a few jokes to make me feel at ease. The craziest part was that Dr. Foxson called personally later in the day to see how I was feeling. Still in the healing process but have to say the experience thus far was exceptional.
Overall my experience was very positive. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and had absolutely no pain and minimal discomfort (my age is mid 30s). Was eating solid food by day 3 and completely healed in 14 days. Dr. Foxson himself also called to check in with me. Making the appointment was easy, got in an out in very little time. My only minor gripe (that isn't worth removing a star) is that I had to give my insurance information multiple times to the billing staff (in person, over the phone a couple times, by email). Dr. Foxson's was very calming from the minute I entered the office til the time I left the office. I am a scarredy cat of any Dentist. The needles in the mouth are the worst even though I take shots regularly. The dental assistant was pretty much with me from the time I was in the dental chair. I can't say enough nice things about this office. I have been telling everyone I know if they need these kind of services he is definitely worth the drive and the time. (It was an hour drive for me)
I was nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed but the staff was really nice and comforting. They really put my mind at ease and I my healing process was really smooth. They even called to check up on me after the procedure!
