Great Service. I have used Parent's since 1994 and have nothing but good things to say. Mostly oil changes, but the times work was needed, I was always called with a quote b4 hand. I refer all of my friends etc to them.
Bad Business - No Trust I will not bring my vehicle back to this garage. I don't feel that they are looking out for their customers best interests to keep their vehicle's running well. I have had two oil changes performed at Parent's. I asked them to top off the fluids (coolant, oil, windshield wiper, etc) and was told they would have the technician do this. I ran out of w.w fluid a few days later. The 2nd visit I made it a point to tell them this occurred and be certain to have the tech take care of topping off the fluids. ... read more
Cheats Ok, i have used parents auto a dozen times. Usually for minor things like oil changes. Last year, my car did not start, so I took it to Parents and they charged me 150 bucks and changed the battery. A week later, the car didn;t start again, and when i called up parents, they said ah the tuning is off. So i took it back there and they charged me 500 dollars to tune the engine. Totally trustworthy -- based on 30+ years experience I have been going to Parents for over 30 years. We've had new cars, junkers and everything in between. My experience?They do the work on time, unless they uncover a hidden problem (very rare), they always call you before proceeding, their estimates are accurate and they're totally trustworthy. When we had junkers, they'd often advise us not to bother fixing something, it wasn't worth it. Or they'd suggest a cheaper alternative that was appropriate for a junker.If they say ... read more

Will Lie to You My car stopped without warning (timing belt broke). I was told if I got it in the garage ASAP (late one Wednesday afternoon) that it could be looked at immediately. 1 1/2 days after the car was in the garage (excluding a 1 day holiday) I called to inquire about the status of my car. I was told there were four cars ahead of mine (when did they arrive?!). Added services not wanted, most likely did unncessary work – They diagnosed something that was probably not broken and I stupidly did not get a second opinion. They also added several items to the work order that were not requested or approved by me or my wife after getting a written list of things we wanted done. I'm never going back.
Been going there for 30 years and I won't go anywhere else. – Very reliable. Done right, done honestly and done on time. If the work is not worth doing because of the age or condition of the car, they'll tell you and recommend an alternative.
Parents Auto Parents auto is one of the best tire places I've been to. When I took my car there, they found 3 missing lugnuts! All were replaced, and I got my car back the next day. I've had no problems with my tires since. Their prices were very affordable, almost a steal for the great results I got.
