Excellent one on one help I hate walking into the big home stores you could walk for hours and never find help- this store gives personal service and and they can show you how to do things too. great selection and staff PROS: small and helpful CONS: may cost a few pennies more
Unfreindly in the hobby dept I have gone to Nankin hobby a few times to shop for slot cars and also for a RC truck to buy as a hobby for myself.After looking around at the RC cars and trucks the counter person just stared at me.I had to ask him for help and he was very cold and not helpful at all.So I went home and bought a Himoto truck off ebay and ho slot car items off ebay.WOW what a great price compared to nankin,so I guess the counter person was right,the internet is killing them in sales.Years ago when I shopped at thi... read more
Its great to have a local hobby shop because most are disappearing I like this stor a lot. They are a hardware store as well. it is like one stop shopping. They have a lot of stuff. And unlike the internet you can get something when you need it. I have never had problems with the staff and they are very helpful and offer a lot of good advice. I read some of the other reviews and i think some people are not ready to handle some hobbies and should pick up arts and crafts. These guys do a good job and everyone is lucky they can... read more
RC RPI Savage X bought from Nankin Hobby I recently purchased a RPI Savage gas powered RC car for my son for Christmas. Whe I got it home, I followed the direction on breaking in the motor before using the truck. But to my surprise, a screw fell out where the roto start connects to the truck. I took the truck back to Nankin hobby for help, but was disappointed to find out that they don't repair these trucks. When I asked to exchange it for another, since I didn't even get to get it going, I was told that they wouldn't do tha... read more
