The food at Nando’s PERi-PERi is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is wonderful, with incredible and unique flavors. I would definitely rate the food 10/10 and highly recommend it. However, the customer service from the people at the register and the servers was not very good. The service felt quite poor, and unfortunately, that affected the overall atmosphere and experience. Because of that, I would honestly think twice before coming back next time, even though the food is amazing.
The food is truly delicious and you can tell the quality is there, but unfortunately the service was very poor. They brought us the wrong order and no one took the time to explain what happened or offer a solution; they simply walked away and we never understood the situation. On top of that, the staff seemed unmotivated and were rude at several moments. It’s a shame because the place has potential, but honestly I don’t think I’ll be coming back because of the service.
I was here with a group on a Sunday. The restaurant was crowded, but not loud. modern furnishings, and clean. Everyone bragged on their food and the service was friendly for such a busy day. You do need to know that you order by scanning a QR code at your table. Otherwise, you might sit for a long time without eating.
Have not technically been here yet but as a Texan married to a South African woman I have been to many Nando's in South Africa. One of my favorite places to eat in South Africa and I love peri peri sauce above all other hot sauces. We live in West Texas but we hope to come on our next DFW trip. You can't go wrong with Nandos! A nice restaurant with outdoor patio seating. Neat but lacking in service and directions. There are little to no signs that say order first and then be seated. Everyone entering seemed confused as to what to do as it said, please wait to be seated with no one in sight. Its grilled chicken, albeit flame grilled. Chicken was moist but small pieces. The supposed highlight which was the sauces were dissapointing. All were tangy and with no real distinct flavor. Overall its not a a place I'd readily pick as food is below average.
