I would not recommend this office. They just want to suck all your money and don’t care about you at all! I went to see Dr. Nanavati in September 2018. Two years later now, a bill suddenly from them charged me for 575$ for a 10 minutes visit. I had insurance when I visited the doctor and I asked him, would my insurance covered the cost. I am a nurse, my husband saw Dr Nanavati several times. Never waited more than 20 mins. VERY good with explanations and Face to Face time with husband. I like him so much so that I am going to schedule my colonoscopy with him. While waiting isnt fun for anyone, staff, MD, patient, with all the incoming here it cant always be helped. The doc I work for is notoriously behind, but very good.

Very thorough and professional Gastroenterologist! Took good care of my wife here recently with her pancreatitis and intestinal disorders.

Moved to southwest Florida and shortly thereafter became ill. I had significant difficulty eating and lost 15 lbs in 3 months. Dr Nanavati was extremely thorough. He took my issues very seriously unlike many of my previous doctors. As a woman it can be difficult to secure proper medical care. Too many physicians dismiss women's health issues

I visited Dr. Nanavati's off on 12/19/18 and my experience with him was pleasant as usual. He is a kind and compassionate doctor. However, I was displeased with his nursing staff who were given orders to schedule me for lab work (thyroids, A1c, etc) but the nurse scheduler made an inappropriate/HIPPA violation statement out loud that insinuated that I may have an autoimmune disease (HIV). I felt humiliated and violated.

To those who whine about waiting for Dr. Nanavati, perhaps it was because he spent time calming my wife (and myself) whose diagnosis of end stage metastizing pancreatic cancer had been overwhelming. He took the time to seek her spirit, and together, formed a plan to squelch her pain. The first step procedure has worked and she is able to have a quality of life in the present time to resume eating, and to have the confidence, strength to meet all who love her on her terms, not the cancer's.

Waited over two hours. Never saw the doctor. Talked to PA. I have highest respect for PA's, but I was in the outer office for 1 hour and 15 minutes, then in the exam room for 45 minutes, alone and with the door shut, before the PA came in. No one ever said a word to me except for the nurse(?) that weighed me and took my blood pressure when she led me to the exam room. I don't care how good the doctor is, it is inhumane treatment to have someone wait for two hours without any explanation.

This doctor uses a company called Kan Anesthesia who does not accept any insurance and charges every patient more than a reasonable and customary insurance reimbursement. It is only disclosed in the fine print when you sign the consent form. Even though Dr. Nanavati's office told me that the insurance covered the colonoscopy procedure, they failed to verbally advise me that the anesthesiologist took no insurance and charged and excessive amount. Avoid this doctor
