Beautifully presented Thai food served with a smile – We finally found it - a Thai restaurant in Atlanta that serves great Thai food! The food was delicious, the presentation was outstanding and the staff provided excellent service. Although we had a problem with our reservation, the staff were quick to make amends. We look forward to dining at Nan again ... and (hopefully) again!

Cheers! Everyone knows your name... – I have dined at Nan's many times over the years, starting out at Tamarind on 14th street and it is always a real delight. I always seem to see the same faces in their dining room time and time again, so I thought I'd take a moment and ask the server about it...OH that Mr. & Mrs. So and so and that is Mr.& Mrs. So and So... on and on she went in her humble Thai way, quite cute I thought, she was so enthusiastic about it all. This I think is a factor that restaurants today don't take into ... read more

The Best!!! – Wow! I can't say enough about this place! I have been several times for dinner, and, yes, it is expensive, but the food, service, and ambiance are always impecable. You really get what you pay for here. I have tried a different dish every time, and everything is wonderful. From the valet service to the wait staff, you are treated like royalty. Try the Nan martini and the Blue Plate appetizer. Fabulous! I actually like coming early to sit in the bar - very cool. I will be returning soon. Oh, and you can get away... read more

User review by sarakmb – The food is wonderful with a great ambience, however they don't seem to understand the concept of a reservation. I made a reservation for 5 people at 6pm on a Monday evening (hardly a busy time), but when we got there we had to wait for the the table because the hostess wanted to make sure our party didn't decrease to 4 or increase to 6. I thought that was the entire idea behind a reservation. Although it is great food, be prepared to spend a lot of $$$$. They also slipped in the gratuity without tel... read more

Worst restaurant experience, and on my birthday! – Even with a reservation my boyfriend and I had to wait over 20 minutes. Our waitress could barely understand english, which I expect in neighborhood ethnic eateries but not for fine dining. We shared fried calamari which we had to serve ourselves with toothpicks. I had a watery, tasteless seafood panang that was full of shell shards from the mussels, I forget how expensive it was but the portion was laughable, I was done in 5 bites. My boyfriend hated his duck in tamarind sa... read more

SUPER EXPENSIVE-GOOD FOOD, BUT PRICES ARE CRAZY! – Yes, the space is exquisite, the servers are slim and lovely, the food is wonderful. But $16 for veggie curry at LUNCH? Outrageous. Never again. I would go to Tamarind, the sister restaurant for the same curry at a resonable lunch price. The best Thai food I have found is at Rice in Roswell-the food is better and the prices are, too...

Restaurant of the year! – If you want to pamper yourself this is the place. It starts when you pull into the valet, they treated my wife as if she was royalty. The food is untouchable.... my wife and i have lived in Thailand, and enjoy the regional tastes you can only get at a good thai restaurant. We have been to every thai restaurant here in atlanta, only Nan and her sister restaurant ( forget the name) comes close to recreating a perfect thai experence. IF YOU ONLY GET TO EAT OUT ONCE A YEAR, THIS IS THE PLACE TO DINE! 10... read more

One of the best dining experiences in the city – Nan does everything right. The food is excellent, the service is perfect and the decor is the best I have seen in the city. I always enjoyed Nan's sister restaurant, Tamarind, but the owners have created a one of a kind experience with Nan. You are truly missing out if you miss this place.
