I went to this location nearly a week ago from the time of writing this (my appointment was on Friday, September 5). This was my first time going to this salon brand, and I wanted to splurge for my birthday. As such, I booked the Gel Saloon Pedicure experience. My experience *in* the salon was 5/5 stars. Hana is incredible! She is meticulous and takes time to make sure my manicures always turn out perfect.
Great salon if you’re white. I’ve come here often for 2 years. When white folks enter the receptionist looks at the schedule on screen and greets them by name every single time however, when I’ve come in for my routine appointments, they never greet me by name. Coat check offers are also scarce. Additionally, my last straw had actually nothing to do with me, but a woman of color Brazilian (not even African-American) had a stroller and a fresh manicure and was struggling to open the door to exit.
