I’m honestly very disappointed with my experience at this nail salon, especially as a Black-owned business I was excited to support after seeing it advertised multiple times on social media. Unfortunately, the atmosphere felt very unprofessional and unorganized and the owner seems to be the only person who actually knows how to properly do nails and maintain professionalism. When I walked in, I was greeted by the only customer service-oriented person there, which was Nia. She was not my tech, but she seemed really nice. I simply asked about the work posted on your Instagram, as that is what brought me to the shop. She let me know that those pictures were from the owner, and I asked to see the work of the person who would be doing my nails. I drove 40 minutes to come here because I heard the nail designs were good, and I’ll say this upfront: the final design was FIRE. The owner ended up doing my nails, and the work was honestly 1000/10. Absolutely beautiful. But the overall experience was chaotic and not relaxing at all. I was taken quickly without an appointment, which I appreciated, but there was literally an argument over who was going to do my nails.
