I moved to VA and I have not found anyone as good as the people at Nail Tek. I have tried many places. I now drive 3 1/2 hours to have them done there whenever I can.
one of the better places around Chapel Hill, but I am used to so much more. Got a gel manicure and they didn't even push my cuticles back. And the gel chipped in less than a day. Didn't get much of a soak or massage either. The pedicure was much better, but took forever and the water got cold and no warm water was added. Then I agree, they ask you out loud in front of all customers if you want to add tip on credit card! There is no better place to get a pedicure than Nail Tek. Others just don't compare. I know after relocating to Florida from Chapel Hill a year ago. I have tried four other nail places but continue to return here when in the area as their service and attention to detail has yet to find any equal. Tina is masterful ... and her leg and foot massage after the pedicure is unmatched. If you haven't tried them, you should, You will be very pleasantly surprised.

Diane is the best for acrylic/gel nails. Very professional, careful and thorough. Tina for pedicure is wonderful. Salon very clean, efficient and organized.
Not super impressed with this place--they rush you through and seem to skip over certain steps that are promised in the description of services. They also ask you awkwardly if you would like to add anything to your payment, instead of letting you fill in a tip on your own. Strange.
OUTSTANDING experience! Live East of Raleigh & will definitely make the trip back. Work is excellent - very precise (I'm quite picky!) and the customer service is fantastic! Prices are comparable to most salons but the quality far surpasses any I've EVER visited. They accept walk-ins but bear in mind, due to their quality, they stay busy.
Very friendly atmosphere and competitive pricing. You only pay for their services no added charges for using a debit/credit card.
