I recently tried out Nail Art Bar for the first time after my cousin recommended it. Her nails looked really nice, so I decided to give it a shot for my birthday and went with a classic French tip. Everything was great! The service was really good and my nail tech — Lisa, was amazing she did a great job! It was my first time ever doing my nails and it was my birthday and it was truly amazing :)
They don’t tell you the costs up front until you’re paying. No where on the site/signs that said there’s extra costs for the magnetic cat eye polish. They charged **$15 EXTRA** If it was French or proper design, I could understand. Or even $5 extra. But a bottle of this polish on Amazon goes for $11. All they said was “you should’ve known because you asked for it” As a business they need to honour their prices.
I had an amazing experience at this nail salon! My nail tech, Lisa, was absolutely fantastic—meticulous, knowledgeable, soft-handed, and incredibly kind. I really appreciated how she personalized my nail shape to complement my hands—it was such a thoughtful touch. UPDATE: The business did reach out and do right by me. I appreciate their efforts to rectify the situation, so increasing my rating to 4 stars from 3! I got a pedicure here yesterday and my technician accidentally cut into my toe, which bled for quite a while. She applied alcohol and a styptic solution, but then had me place my foot back in the tub, which I believe caused an infection.
