Visited 7/4/26. There were 3 employees working-one man and 2 older women. The man was quiet, kind and did a great job on my manicure and painted my toe nails. Neither woman smiled or had anything nice to say. They only had 2 customers, so they were not overwhelmed with customers. I would love to say they were just having a bad day, but this was the same experience I had the only other time I went there. The salon seemed unorganized and unclean. Some of the polishes were old and could not be opened.
I've been coming to Nail 2000 for years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Wendy always does an amazing job on my French manicures, and during the holidays she creates beautiful custom nail designs that are always fun and creative. Lamda gives the absolute best pedicures—the leg massages are so relaxing and make every visit feel like a treat. I had a very uncomfortable experience outside this salon that made me decide not to return. While I was parked in front of the salon sending a quick text, an employee walked by my car and made prolonged, intense eye contact in a way that felt hostile. At first, I thought maybe I was overthinking it, so I looked away. However, when I glanced back, she continued staring at me even as she walked away, which made me uneasy. Their pedicures and massage are incredible. More than any place else in Tallahassee I love the service. They are very friendly and easy to talk to.
