I do not recommend Dr Dhabuwala. His manner is rude and condescending but worse still his knowledge and understanding of neurodivergence is lacking. That became clear in the first few minutes of the appointment. His views are terribly outdated and I would say harmful for any person who identifies as neurodivergent. He is not validating. He is dismissive. And just factually wrong on a number issues. Do not get a referral for this doctor if you are neurodivergent, he is not the right doctor for you.
Dr Dabuwala took my son off his medication. His reason? My son "didn't deserve it". Since then, my son has gone downhill in every aspect of his life and hasn't attended school for almost 3 years. I didnt know what to say at the time to Dr Ketan Dabuwala but iam absolutely disgusted at this man. Its been a couple of years since this happened but often I think what a horrible man.
Have seen Dr Ketan, since our Family Paediatrician Retired in 2025. During this time we had found Dr Ketan, dismissive of Concerns relating to our 6 year old throughout numerous consults. This time was not the first however the last time. I had sent an email relating to possible Seizure Activity with our 6 year old, although there is no family history my eldest has been Diagnosed for 15 years, 15 years of this told me what the next steps were. DR White has been seeing my 4 grandchildren over the last 8 years on a regular basis. She has been a wonderful support person with a wealth of knowledge and guiding us as we moved through the complex nature of Autism and ADHD. Thank you for your wonderful support.
