The server was great. The food was so not up to standards for an authentic Asian Resturant. The sushi rolls sucked. The food was over cooked and the rest of the staff was to engaged in their conversation to realize they were loud and ignoring the guest.
This is just not the same restaurant that I used to go to back in 2012/2013.... it's sad... every sushi restaurant I go to I ask them to cut my rolls in 8 pieces... Nagoya has never refused to do that for me... tonight it was too "risky"....this is the second time recently that my experience was not so great...
The food is absolutely phenomenal. But the service was absolutely terrible. The tea was sour so we politely asked the server for new drinks. She brings them back. Still sour. Our server "Kelly K" proceeded to snatch my cup from me when I asked for a Dr. Pepper and rolled her eyes. It's 4 of us. Three got their food and 30 minutes later the last person got hers. As soon as the plate was on the table, the server immediately brought a To-Go box. Then putting our tickets on he other end of the table.
I wasn't impressed with service. I had to ask the waitress several times for a drink I ordered.
Great hibachi and probably the best sushi in town. The lunch hibachi is cheaper so if you're trying it for the first time, I recommend doing lunch. I love the rainbow roll there. Be sure and tip the sushi chefs! They have a tip jar up by the bar.
