Had a fusion on c6-c7. Little hard to understand but a very good physician. Tried several options before surgery but when I decided I was ready for surgical option he listened and didn't try to keep dragging out more and more office visits. No problems in surgery just took longer than expected recovery (partial recovered 6 months full 1 1/2 years). Minor scaring. And full range of movement only limited to metal plate

Very thorough and experienced. Not overbearing but sincerely passionate in his diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. Listens to patient issues, concerns etc. Not dogmatic.

After Dr. Muhanna completed a lumbar fusion on my back, I continuously felt movement & pain. He continuously said that I was healed. After getting a 2nd & 3rd oppinion I found that the surgery failed. I had to get the exact same surgery almost 2 yrs later & everything had to be redone that he did which was a much more lengthy surgery. Piedmont doctors said he is still using hardware that is known for the body to reject thus being why they no longer use them. I do not recomment him to anyone.

I would give Dr. Muhanna 10 stars if it was possible! My wife was in excruciating pain for a week and unable to walk, stand or sit. He gave her some treatment options but explained that due to a severely occluded disc, surgery would be the best option. After her procedure, her pain was gone and she was able to walk and sit again. We can't thank Dr. Muhanna enough for what he did for our family. His PA Chad is amazing as well!
