I had a surgery done by him and let’s just say the whole experience was bad. At first things seemed promising. I wish now I would’ve chose a dif Dr. My back feels worse, like I’m dealing with a whole new set of issues than before. He cut my spinal sac during surger,a “dumotomy ...”Neglected to tell me or my family after surgery. So many more inconsistencies during and after surgery that there isn’t enough space to type.

I had Lumbar Laminectomy Discectomy L4-L5 performed 10/2017. I’m still in a lot more pain now than before surgery. I also had 3 blood clots after surgery with no blood thinner. The one in my right lung almost killed me. I have no balance in right leg, can’t feel right foot and bladder isn’t functioning properly. I have fallen 7x since surgery & on the ER doc said I have a ruptured disc a L3 that wasn’t taken care of on the day of surgery which ER doc said that it was there then. 02/04/2021 Office Visit and Dr. Muhanna wore no mask during the entire time I was there. He entered another exam room while I was being shown to my exam room, briefly entered my room, returned to my exam room for about 15 minutes and then, leaving my door open, entered a different exam room all the while without wearing a mask. I have no confidence in someone who knowingly may expose his patients by failing to wear a mask.

Two months ago today (on 8/21/2020) Dr. Muhana performed lumbar fusion (L4,L5,S1) with 6 screws, 2 rods, and 2 discs on my lower back. I went from excruciating pain to NO PAIN and an inch taller! I'd give him 10 stars if I could! Thanks again Doc!

office visit for 2nd opinion for surgery- spent time explaining to us about our X-rays and explained options and need for a little more information from a CT scan before rendering final decision about if surgery was indicated- very impressed with him!!!!

Had c6 fusion done with Dr Muhanna. A very well qualified surgeon, explained the procedure and what to expect. He came highly recommend ‘As a Surgeon ‘ by a friend who is an OR Nurse and works with Muhanna, but did clue me into his terrible bedside manner. His follow up exams explanations and time spent with me was also horrible. Had to ask my questions and get answers from his assistant Sean.

I have the highest regard for Dr. Nabil Muhanna who performed my tricky back surgery. • Initially, he listened carefully to my symptoms and concerns & was very compassionate. • He studied the test results and discussed them in detail with me. • He laid out three options based on these tests. I chose the “full enchilada.” • I am eternally grateful that he handled my complications immediately and competently. • Operation was a success! His staff was primo. I really like & recommend Dr. Muhanna.

Stayed with me through complicated back surgery and rehab. Gave me options and clearly explained ramifications of each option. Called in partner to discuss MRI with me, showing me exactly what was happening with my back. Uses flexible as well as fixed rods as condition demands. As a result, I am much more flexible than I would have been with another surgeon's desire to install fixed rods only. I am very grateful. I have no remaining pain.

Felt like we were taking up his time and showed no interest in what I had to see him for...condescending...short...asked "what is making me hurt so bad...and his response was ..I don't know and surgery you don't need.." I wasn't there to have surgery even scheduled...my 5 min. Appointment was horrible!
