Avoid Nabih's in Evanston at all costs. – Horrific experience gettingG4 serviced. My Mac has been freezing up under OS X and tried everything under the sun to figure out why. Basically I took into Nabih's, an "authorized" Apple reseller and repair place. I was told that they would run a diagnostic to see where the hardward problem was, since I knew it wasn't the software. Instead of running the diagnostic, the less-than-forthcoming repair person spent an hour and a half trying to reinstall OS X, which I informed him wasn't t... read more
A quick Mac fix – The hard drive on my Mac melted down and I came here for repairs. got my machine back two days later and it runs great. The price was pretty good -- and they took a lot of time to ask questions about whether I'd pay for this or that, depending on what they found. And they also called midway through the repair and checked in again.
