Delicious food, and very cheap!!! – I haven't had much Indian food in my life, but I do know what taste good. I ordered the Chicken Tika Marsala, eggplant curry, rice, and the Naans. All the dishes were very delicious and also very cheap. My total bill for 2 people was $10, and we were stuffed. The service isn't very good. The cashier was a bit rude, and it is a self service restaurant (get your own untensils). Which is why I recommend take out.

Say no to naan-n curry – I ordered take-out, the guy who took my order wasn't friendly, they forgot to include one of the items that I ordered, and I ordered a chicken and potato dish and only received 2 pieces of chicken and 1 potato for $6.99. Portions were extremely small and service was bad. There are better joints around the area...

Spicy, savory curries and budget-friendly prices at this Inner Sunset destination. – In Short This standby often draws an eclectic mix of young artists, professionals and expatriate families to its casual, cafeteria-style digs. The cuisine is traditional Pakistani, with spicy, butter-tender lamb curries and long-stewed vegetables. As the restaurant's name implies, homemade, freshly cooked naan bread is a specialty. Basmati rice is also served to sop up sauces.

Cheap Indian Food – Good for the families enjoy the indian taste. This place normally gets really crowded after 6PM, but the turn around is not too slow. Self-service and the milk tea is free, drink as much as you like!!!

It's okay, but... – We tried this place over the weekend and arrived prior to 6p and after that, it became very crowded. It's basically a self-service restaurant, you get your own plates, utensils, tea/water and order the food at the counter & they bring it to you when done. We tried the chicken masala. The chicken was dry but the sauce tastu. The naan bread and papadum were fair and the bitter melon veggie dish was quite good. It's food that will sustain you but I've had better Indian cuisine. If you're primarily looking fo... read more

Excellent for price – I have been here several times since this location opened up. I have tried a variety of entrees and have loved everything except the lamb dishes. If you want quality lamb dishes I would go elsewhere but thier chicken and veggie meals are excellent. The only other negative is you leave smelling like grill and smoke:( But great food and they have an outdoor seating:)

Come get the curry... – Easily one of the best cheap eats I've ever had. Located in the middle of inner sunset, this not so posh place makes up for it in incredibly efficient service and fantastic food. The vindaloo and curry are great to go along with amazing garlic naan. I'm in New York now and totally crave this place.

Hot and Spicy – Get your own dishes, forks, and drinks. This place is great for inexpensive indian food. Parking is bad but it's close to the N-Judah so big deal. Naan come in huge portions. Always busy so go early. Great place to hang out with friends.
