This was a real treat. Hidden gem. Drove by and saw the sign. So I pulled over and Googled the place. Seemed very cool. Circled back around and went in. My kids got some ice cream and I got a frozen latte. The place smelled amazing. The owner was super nice and the employees were friendly. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will certainly go back. Update: stopped back in the cafe this weekend 4/6/2025 and it was just as amazing as the first time. I went here with my mom and I'm so glad we did. The owner was working and greeted us with a smile. He was happy to strike up a conversation about the business and informed us that he travels to the locations of his cacao farmers including Ecuador and Hawaii! He knew a lot about the cacao industry and the way he spoke it was so obvious that this isn't just a business, it's a passion. I love chocolate! The moment you walk in your senses are aroused. The smell is divine. -came when the cafe just opened -The owner was present and pleasant(well traveled and makes authentic chocolate, specifically from Ecuador) 🦋 I got the oat milk 70% hot chocolate with whip cream and OMG it was simply incredible. Wow! Mystic River Chocolate Cafe has wonderful organic bean to bar chocolate. The drinking chocolate is also delicious. This cafe is a gem! Definitely check it out!
I had their signature hot chocolate, and it was the best thing I have ever had! ☕️ I have high standards for chocolate, and I especially love dark chocolate! The hot cocoa was not your average drink, it was extremely rich and chocolately, but not too sweet! The cafe items were reasonably priced for their quality of the food, and I had an overall wonderful experience!
