Absolutely horrible experience! Having to reschedule is a nightmare. Why do we not have the ability to talk to the Myrtle Beach Outpatient Clinic directly?! I know it’s possible because I moved from a different state that allowed us to call the outpatient clinic directly. I had to try and reschedule an appointment for an MRI, and I could not get ahold of the scheduling person. I called, and Charleston is the central phone HUB, so talked to someone there. Attempted to get an appointment here since I just moved to the area from Texas and I sat on the phone forever! The operator finally answered and I asked who I would need to speak to about swapping my care over to this new location. No words — just transferred and put on hold for over 30 mins on to be hung up on. Here I was thinking that all the negative reviews about this VA system here had to be some sort of lie…. I was wrong. Dr. Davies-Wait is by far the worst primary care provider I have ever had in my entire life. She is disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unreliable. She claims forms are completed, yet when I arrive they aren’t done—and she acts as if it’s a burden to finish them. I felt this way from my very first encounter with her, but I hoped that if I gave her another chance, things might change. Unfortunately, it didn’t — it was an even worse situation the second time.
