I was recommended a Genesignt test when talking to a therapist during an intake call. I did NOT CONSENT to having a package sent to me and I ignored the Genesight emails and DID NOT SIGN UP TO HAVE ONE SENT TO ME, now I see I’m being sent one?? Cancel this now. I want nothing to do with this and I do not want this on my insurance. I do not consent!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Myraid and I what I believe are deceptive billing practices. Like many others, I was told this test would be covered by my insurance due to diagnosis and history of failed medications. Total scam and waste of money. All of the meds it stated I could tolerate two of them I have a high allergy to. Three hundred dollars out of my pocket for a total scam!!
Took the genesight test from recommendation of my provider, this test did not provide any useful information and most of what it tests for hasn't been validated. The technology is not at the point where this type of test is worth anyone's time.
