I’ve been meaning to write this review for nearly two years… I brought my 8 month old daughter to Myo Place Therapy when, after starting solids, we discovered she couldn’t swallow or keep down anything other than breastmilk. We worked with Geena who managed to make my, at the time, painfully shy little girl feel comfortable (a seriously huge accomplishment). Geena is so knowledgeable and practical. She gives great ideas about how to fit exercises into our routines at home. I'm a speech pathologist, but I mainly work with adults. I took my 2 year old here for therapy to address finger sucking and poor lip movement. She has already stopped sucking her fingers and we are seeing better lip movement. My 2 year old son saw Eugenia for feeding therapy! I noticed that my son had a hard time chewing and would hold/pocket food that was hard to chew in his mouth. (He had a lip/tongue/buccal ties that were released when he was 3 months old). Eugenia was kind, helpful, and personable. My son absolutely enjoyed working with her!!! Highly recommend Heather! I experienced a lot of breastfeeding issues and Heather was able to help us overcome our challenges and surpass our breastfeeding goals entirely. She is the best & I am so grateful to have had her be a part of our journey! Thank you!!
I am so happy that my chiropractor this place after my infant's tongue and lip tie were released. Heather has been wonderful! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist after tie release in the area.
