Went here Friday October 17th 2025. They were short staffed. They had issues running our insurance but told us it would be fine and would rerun our insurance. If there was an issue, contact us. Instead of doing any of that, they sent us to collections. Found out by a collection's person coming to our door in March out of the blue. Tried to call the Gainesville office four weeks in a row told that the manager would call us back, finally called the corporate office. Had a wonderful experience. The tech that helped me was so nice, and every step of the way everything was explained. The eye dr was really nice and also went into a lot of detail about everything, which I really appreciated. My glasses came in really quickly and are great!
Two bad experiences that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. First, when I went for an appointment, I had to speak English to get one. The second time, they canceled my appointment because I had to pay out of pocket for my eye exam. I have the evidence to back this up. I don't recommend them. First and last time I visit that place.
UPDATE: I received a call f/u call from corporate to further discuss my experience -I'm pleased that the response was positive insomuch that I decided to change my rating from 1 star to four. UPDATE: Yesterday 2/17/26 -I placed a phone call to MyEye Dr. to inquire if I needed to schedule an appt to pick up my new eyeglasses as I had called the day before to check if they were ready. This place is an absolute joke. They don’t tell you until you get there that even with insurance they are going to charge you $44 for some bullshit exam and that they don’t even have an actual doctor on site. 0 out of 10 stars. Do not recommend
