I had an eye test in early December and was told I needed varifocal glasses. I ordered them and waited and never heard back. I called at the end of the month and was told there was a technical error and my glasses would be another ten days. Two weeks later I received the glasses and couldn't see through them. I went back to see about fixing them and had a repeat eye test where I was told I didn't really need varifocals and I would be better with reading glasses. After reading the other reviews I am glad I am not the only one experiencing poor customer service and untruthful responses from MyEyeDr (2810 E Trinity Mills Rd #173, Carrollton, TX 75006). The Doctors are exceptional but the sales department is unprofessional and poorly run. I understand the duty to sell and push out more pricey items on the customer but the use of extreme wordings and statements such as "you cannot get these lenses for this frame" is just a lie and false. Myeyedr expected me to pay out of pocket for a visit that my insurance would cover saying they had had trouble collecting from people in the past (I am not one of those people). I was told I would be reimbursed by check in the mail once the claim was paid. It is now four months later. I have made MULTIPLE calls to my local office, but am told this goes through the corporate office. There have been constant excuses. Today, I woke and remembered I STILL have not been paid. Used them the first time two weeks ago. Every person I’ve encountered with at the location I visited is a complete liar. They tell you what you want to hear until they get your payment, and then it’s horrendous trying to get updates on my order, which in my case was nearly $1000. Still waiting on my order after two weeks, but was told 7-10 days to receive.
