I am a patient/customer at the Dallas/LBJ location. Before myeyedr acquired this office, customer service was excellent. With 4 kids in glasses/contacts, I appreciated the staff’s efforts. Everyone cared about my family’s vision correction needs. Now, the complete opposite is true. I ordered new glasses in February & still do not have them - it is now almost the 4th of July! Me and my husband have been going to the My Eye Dr in Laporte Indiana for atleast 3 years and never had an issue. Last week I called to make appointments for me and my husband. The recorded message said to schedule appointments online. I then went online and scheduled and appointment for my husband for today. I then went out of the system and went back in and scheduled my appointment for the next available after my husband which was back to back. I had a terrible experience at MyEyeDr in Cheshire, CT. I ordered frames that were supposedly in stock at another location. I told them I need new frames like I need water. I am very near-sided. They took my payment at my first visit, told me they would rush the order and didn’t. When I called for a status they had no ETA. All they told me was the frames are being shipped FedEX and they will get here when they get here. They had no record of me even buying frames at first when I called. I didn’t get a reminder about my appt and I knew my son and I were 20 mins apart with the scheduling of our appts. I just wanted to show the front desk receptionist the test that I didn’t get a text reminded me mine was at 9:40am I got one for his being 10am so I assumed mine was 10:20am and this was due to them having to cancel my appt and reschedule. I had an appointment at 4 pm. At 6:15 pm, I still had not seen a doctor. I was told “we are sorry. We are understaffed”. Understaffed, yet they scheduled seven 4 pm appointments. I had to reschedule for the next day to complete my exam, as I had a toddler to pick up from daycare. After my next appointment, I was told that my eye glass and contact lens prescriptions would be available online. After 3 phone calls over the next 2 days, my eye glass prescription was posted. Had an appointment for an eye exam at the Plymouth office on 6/2/22. I had an exam the prior year at the same location. My cost after insurance in 2021 =$40, in 2022=$179.50. This was an increase of 222%! The exam I had was less extensive than in 2021. Without insurance the charges totaled over $320. I was told prices went up, and they don't make the prices there. I don't usually leave reviews whether bad or good, but I had a horrible experience with them. I had my appointment rescheduled three times while trying to correct my contacts that bothered my eyes so bad I couldn't wear them. I was nothing but accepting and accommodating to the changes. I spent way to much money on something I can't even wear. Now they are telling me it is not refundable or changeable. Ray at the front desk was nonaccomadating and rude. Really bad customer service at all. Doctors office scheduled appointment for my dad after checking insurance VSP. But next day they cancel appointment because doctor at Toledo OH location want not working with Medicaid people. Not any apologies. Just call and said you need go to different location. When you look to website of this office you can see information that we are accept any insurance. Never go to Myeyedr.

MYEyeDr in Newtown CT is Horrible.... The Eye Doctor is great however the staff at the front desk are clueless. It took 6 times to just get my "sample" contacts correct and only after i suggested they order two different complete sets. I needed multi vision one with hi add and the other med. I was told the system wont let them order them that way. This was after complete getting it wrong for the first 4 times.
