unmatched workmanship, pricing and selection... I actually discovered this optical place on this citysearch site and traveled from a distance to it. Lauren I came here on a co-workers recommendation after she heard me complaining that opticals near my house do not sell anything special. She said that Eyeworks of Decatur had a lot of unique frames and I should check them out.
Con artists. The doctor did her job properly, but the staff up front will try to rip you off. They tried to overcharge me by $50.00 for an eye exam and couldnt explain why. After i explained how they were wrong, they did lower the price. I had to specifially ask for an itemized receipt and thats when i noticed they were charging me for a type of exam that i didnt get so they would receive more money from the insurance company. Great Frames - Great Service! I am so excited that this eye wear store opened up in Decatur. Not only are they incredibly convenient, but they have some of the coolest eye glasses I have seen in a long time.
Eyeworks of Decatur is Fantastic I thought EOD was fantastic. I have sent my husband and my son who are also thilled not only with the doctor but the glasses and the staff. A must go.
Worth The Drive I drove from outside the Perimeter to go to this optical store because I heard such great things about their selection. I was not disappointed. They have a great selection of eyewear and I am so glad I snuck out of work early (shhhh) to check it out. Their inventory is quite different than other places I have been to and since that is exactly what I was looking for - they fit the bill. I found a great frame and they were very nice to do business with.
Superlative Serivce - Very professional I just got my glasses and am so pleased. I have tried progressive lenses a couple of times before but never had success. This optician specializes in progressives and he should. I can see amazing - with no time to get used to them, which he told me I may need. Aside from that, they took my insurance (so I got to save some $ on these expensive lenses).
