Hospital appointed Dr. Myers as my sons pediatrician at birth. I should have known it wasn't a good fit when after checking jaundice levels after bringing him home they never called me until I reached out that his levels were still dangerous but nothing was done. At 3 years old I scheduled an appt for some concerning symptoms my son was having. She didn't listen and played it off as me being an anxious first time mom. 2 weeks later he was diagnosed with leukemia at a local ER. Go to literally anyone else.
This was the worst experience I have encountered with a physician. She is not compassionate or show interest in her patients at all. She sat down the entire time and rolled around in the chair for my son visit and did not engage with my son at all. We recently moved here from Colorado due to the military. My son was prescribed a certain type of milk but she would not renew his prescriptions. Continue to give excuses or reasons of why she could not and provided no resolution.
Rude gruff no bedside manner argued about being allergic to aquphour which she is per her dermatologist Dr at ummc in Jackson ms
Dr.Myers was open, friendly, and very thorough with my children. I appreciated her questions concerning my children's everyday, normal behavior and she was a great listener as well. She engaged the kids throughout the exam and she treated them with respect and compassion. I felt very confident in the advice or suggestions that she passed along to me, she was very insightful when it came to toddler behavior. I am very thankful she is our pediatrician!
