Went to My Mother’s Fri, 9/21 around 4:30. Anthony/Antonio came out, grabbed fresh cannoli cream & made the BEST cannolis we’ve had in @ least 11 years (since we moved here from LI). The black & white cookies WERE the best I’ve ever had! Everything looked scrumptious and they’re now making cakes to order. Will definitely go back even though it’s a bit far from The Hideout!! Hidden gem!
Finally found a genuine NY Italian bake shop out here. One less stop we need to make in NJ before coming to our weekend house in PA. Cannolis are done right filled while you wait. Pastries are fresh and delicious.
what a lovely little oasis in South Scranton! stopped in and sat for awhile to enjoy a great cup of coffee and a fabulous chocolate caramel pastry bar...so yummy! so good we had to bring some home for the weekend! can't wait to go back!
I came in around 5pm, after the register was closed but before they turned off the lights. Anthony said their new hours are 7am- 5pm (I think), which is great since I'm out of work at 4:30. Today was my first time in & Anthony treated me so well. I've been to other places where employees would just close up and immediately refuse customers.
