WHEN ONLY "THE BEST" WILL DO! – We travel around the world seeing about Terminal-ill patients through Artwork, Pound Cakes, Cleaning, Cooking, Washing, Ironing, Home Repairs, or just being a Shoulder for them to Lean ON. BEWARE! BEWARE! – This shop is NOT My Favorite Mechanic! They have cheated the name and stolen the marketing...this is a slick attempt to fool you!
This is my fav mechanic – I went to My Favorite Mechanic for a overhearing car. In 2 hours they let me know the problem, by 5pm the next day it was repaired. I was very satisfied with Missy who handles eveything very well. The owner actually works and not just giving orders. Great experience and the cost was significantly less than that of others. Thank you and i will refer you to everyone!
$30 for a look-see, with NO heads up? – Simply took the car in for a flat to be checked for viability, and another minor mechanical curiosity. I wanted an estimate prior to going ahead. When I came back to collect the car so we could decide whether to use MFMIAW or another shop (yes, we comparison shop) I was told I owed $30 for the "assessment". What? Always Great Service – My husband & I have taken our car here for years now. We really trust them & both agree that we never feel they are doing any unnecessary work. I've had appalling service by car mechanics in the past & am happy knowing I can trust them here. I agree that their prices may be a little more expensive than other places, but I firmly agree that you get what you pay for. They are never the cheapest, yet also never the most expensive. Appauling BAD. Grossly Overpriced, Inept Service. – This is not the first time I have used this shop, but it is definitely the last. The 1st time I had a good experience, the 2nd they were painfully slow, the 3rd..well, they will never see my money again. I took my car for some diagnostics. The engine was running rough and "skipping", and there was a knocking noise from the front end. My car was there at 8.00am. By 4.45, and after calling them twice, I had no info on my car. Keep looking – We had our car towed there on Monday morning to have a fuel pump replaced. They had to special order a part and wait for two days....then special order another part and wait another day. This leaves us without a car for three (and a half) days. I felt like the labor was extremely overpriced, but my research indicates that the cost on the part was fair. Dont take your car to this place – I took my car to My Favorite Mechanic (is a Woman) for a routine maintanence check-up. 24 hours after leaving my car at the shop I recieved a call from Kerry the owner and operator. She quoted me an outrageously priced estimate for the work "needed" on my car. Because the estimate seemed so expensive I decided I would wait off on the service and take it somewhere else for a second opinion.
