Besides being disappointed that they were out of both corn on the cob and Dungeness crab (4 o'clock on a Sat,who dropped the ball on that one?), it was delicious. After switching from the non existent Dungeness pot, to a pot of half King crab and shrimp I was happy with my meal. Great food but they where out of French fries and Corn. Service was also a bit slow. Crawfish and shrimp where amazing though and the oyster shooters rock!
Food was good.service has gone way down hill since they moved to the new location.
I've been loyal to this place for years. Absolutely the best Cajun food anywhere in this SE/NE/Montavilla area !! The convenient location near SE Division -off SE 82nd -across from PCC make it easy to find. And a true 'FIND' it is !! I'm not the only one who feels this way as the popularity of this restaurant CONTINUES to expand and grow !!
I bought 10 lbs because they use to make it good. This time i got it, it was salty and small. They even said that the crawfish was live. A lot of the ones that i got the guts were all dark/blackened, meaning they were most likely frozen. Last time i will be ordering from here.
We was the only African Americans dinning, so It did feel a lil awkward, but overall we was treated fairly and service was divine. The only thing we didn't like was our food taking an entire hour to be served to us. However, the food was delicious and well worth the wait.
The taste of the boil was awesome. The service wasn't that good, wasn't even busy.
