You can hear everything from street noise to a roommate breathing. No soundproof was ever thought about for this building. The washer and dryer combo is horrible.

First off, I’ve lived at the Mw8 for nearly 2 years, in twodifferent units. What follows is my lengthyreview and advice for people moving in. My true rating for this building would be4.5 stars. As Google will not let me leave this, I’m going to place it at 4, and then possibly, adjust it up later. Benefits: *Apartments are safe. The property manager Dustin is so unprofessional and rude. He has accused me of stealing someone else stuff and claimed he has footage then says it’s a misunderstanding, I request his superior information which he legally needs to provide and instead says Im harrasing him infront of other tenants. He only cares about filling the room as fast as possible so expect a lot of international students who stay for months and dump things behind! I lived here for 3 years , The building manager Dustin is very friendly and was allways prompt with getting maintenance issues fixed , Communication was allways good with Dustin and his secretary Kaya , Both are very friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to have a high up room with a great view of downtown . The Location is VERY convenient for non drivers !! Public Transit - The MAX and busses are basically across the street and everything in downtown is very walkable .

Furnishings were nice and the in unit washer/dryer was convenient (although they can rattle quite a bit and the dryer takes a long time). Maintenance is amazing! Always quick to take care of work orders! Dustin is great too— very friendly and does his best to make sure your needs are accommodated for. The location is perfect, near PSU, food carts, and public transit. But if you are on a lower floor the streets can be pretty loud (MAX station, fire department, cars, etc.).
