I have an account with CIT bank. My advise, run, don't walk, run away from CIT as fast as you can. CIT has non-existent customer service. You literally have to wait an hour or more just to speak with a human when you call. They do not respond timely to secure messages on the website. You simply can not get any help from them. I am closing my account as soon as someone either answers the phone or responds to my secure message. HORRIBLE! Had CD mature and needed to disposition. Was in the bank for ONE HOUR to accomplish and I was the only customer there! Had CD at another nearby bank with same situation and they were done in 8 minutes. CIT does not respect customers time. They also don’t have same offerings in person as online.
Terrible - run away. Agent input wrong SS, did not read 2nd page of documents & gave list of mortgage counselors that did not support the state I live in!! 175 pages to sign w/ notary. Geez.
