If you are in the Human Resources business and are responsible for hiring and/or vetting investment vendors for your organization or business, please tread carefully with Mutual of America-Pittsburgh office The best analogy I can offer from my experience thus far is to compare the old Raid commercial (roaches can check in but they can't check out) to the experience I've had trying to withdraw my funds and close out my account. If l could rank them in the negative, I would. I submitted paperwork for a withdrawal and after 2+ weeks I had still heard nothing. I tried calling. First time I was on hold for an hour and had to hang up because I work; second time I was on hold for 1.5 hours before I had to hang up. Third time, after 2.5 hours on hold I finally spoke to someone. They couldn't help me but also told me my address and email had never been updated by my former employer nor could provide the updates and so they would not process anything until ... read more

I called the 800 number, I was trying to find my 1099 online. I was in the que for 38 minutes. I spoke to someone who had to transfer me to someone who could assist. They picked up and hung up immediately without even talking to me. I know they want us to be electronic, but where on the website can I find my 1099, it’s 01/31/2023, it should be viewable!

Would give 0 stars if possible.... Can't get hold of anyone. Just sit on hold forever.
